Titanic and Me - why the connection?

Hi there, thanks for dropping by.

Let me introduce myself, my name is 'Rose' and I have lived in this beautiful Georgian House for the past 20 years.

In November 2010 my home was featured in a BBC TV documentary about the Titanic and its Liverpool connections. You may have seen it?

In 1993 researchers for the Epic Film TITANIC visited me. Until then I had no idea that Captain Smith had lived here.

This was an amazing, incredible discovery.  Deep down I have always known my house was really special.   Over the years I have been drawn to learn more, researching and documenting the incredible major historical events that had their beginnings here. 

I want to take you on a very personal journey, to share my life and experiences living in his family home.

Because this is not just Captain Edward John Smiths house, it is my house, and it will always hold a very special place in my heart.
